Bar. (The Tardis)

 

The bar area has a seating capacity to accommodate over 56 people.

The bar has bar stools, comfortable bench seats,  cushioned chairs, cushioned stools and various tables.

It is not open to the public, residents only.

 

 

The large, well stocked bar serves Fosters lager, John Smiths draft smooth flow bitter, Draft Speckled Hen, Draft Guinness and draft Strong bow Cider.
The bar also serves a good selection of bottled beers.
The bar also boasts of having a fine selection of whiskeys and a large selection other spirits and liqueurs.

 

A good selection of wines are also available. 

20's to 60's music is played as background music during the evening.

The sound system can only be heard in the area from the side of the bar in the area containing the wood burning stove.

During the winter time, a wood burning stove will keep you as warm as toast.

 

 

The ‘Fishermans Cove’ is a snug area which has become a popular meeting place during the evenings for anglers to play cards, exchange fisherman's tales and exchange angling tips. 

Some anglers just sit in the 'Fisherman's Cove' and watch the giant aquarium, have a quiet drink and chill out.

The walls in the visitors centre are covered with photographs of customers, and customers with their catches.

 

The bar opens at 18.30 and closes at 23.00 hours, 22.30 hours on Sundays. 

The bar may also be open between Noon and 14.00 hours depending on demand.

If you haven't had enough to drink by 23.00 hours, the management firmly believe you haven't been trying hard enough.

 

Please remember, children are not allowed in the bar.

 

At 21.00 hours, all children must leave the visitors centre.
