Major John's Lake covers about +4.5 acres. The North bank of the lake is lined with mature broad leaved trees with the south bank having a back drop of an 8 acre cider apple orchard. The lake has been designed to accommodate eight, double swims. |

|
Each swim contains many different underwater features within easy reach. The lake has three islands and ranges from 3 to 15 feet deep. This lake is peppered with a lot of underwater features, well worth finding. |

Major John's Lake is stocked with two hard fighting strains of Carp. Blue Carp and Cream Carp. The Slate Blue Carp are the hardest fighting. Closely followed by the Cream Carp. |
|
|
The lake contains five forty pound Mirror Carp as well as a lot of 20's. This is the only lake on the Clawford Complex which contains specimen Grass Carp. |
